This is another great garden pump built to last. Self priming centrifugal jet pump capable of operating with suction lift of up to 9m. We supply this pump with the reliable and robust PC-10 automatic controller.

The controller ensures that when you turn the tap on, the pump starts automatically and when you turn the tap off the pump stops. The PC-10 controller also protects the pump against "Running-Dry" so, when your tank does run out of water, the PC-10 controller will turn off the pump and prevent damage to the pump. With a strong and efficient 0.75 KW ( 1 HP) electric motor. Ideal pump to install with any of our rainwater tanks. 

Performance Specification

The Davey RainBank® is an automatic controller for rainwater harvesting. Incorporated into the design of new homes, or retrofitted to existing properties, RainBank® controls the water supply for toilet or laundry applications by automatically switching the water source from the domestic mains to rainwater when a demand is sensed and rainwater is available in the storage tank.

RainBank® is the first product to use rainwater as the water supply for toilet and laundry applications in the metropolitan area, and control it automatically. It can save up to 40% of a households drinking water supply (which is normally used in these applications), thereby helping to conserve Australia's precious water resources.

How RainBank® Works

When a toilet is flushed or a washing machine begins to fill, the RainBank® system detects this demand and automatically checks to see if sufficient water can be found in the rainwater storage tank. If sufficient rainwater is available, the RainBank® switches the supply to this source and completes the demand cycle. At the completion of this demand cycle, the RainBank® automatically switches off, thus saving energy.

If the rainwater supply is depleted at any time during a demand cycle (or prior to a demand cycle), RainBank® provides mains water to fulfil the demand. In the case of a power failure, RainBank® automatically supplies mains water as the back-up.
